For Lyko’s latest summer campaign, we had the opportunity to dive in and explore a new seasonal chapter of the Your Beauty Playground universe.

We wanted to capture the feeling of summer, when beauty becomes lighter, freer and more spontaneous. Building on the visual foundation of Lyko’s existing 3D brand world, we created a fully  animated environment filled with sun, water, glitter, bubbles and playful movement. As usual, the beauty products themselves took center stage as storytellers and protagonists.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the process was developing all the quirky little details scattered throughout the world — eye patch sharks swimming through turquoise water, beauty blender coconuts falling from hairpin palm trees, as well as all the beauty products that made up the environment itself.

The film was designed not only as a hero piece, but as a vital seasonable part of a scalable campaign system spanning makeup, K-beauty, sun and skin, hair, fragrance and Your Beauty Playground across the entire summer period.
